It was a pleasure to talk to Dean Harries about how he became a leader in the health sector. We met a few years ago on a train journey from Wales to London: I was going to the airport to fly home and he was going for a job interview and we have stayed in touch every since. He talks about:
His lost teenage years
How to lead a team of experts when not an expert
How learning about yourself can help you understand others
I am sure that what he says will resonate with many.

Before listening to this interview I wasn’t really sure if it was something that would relate to me, but I found it so interesting to hear about leadership and leading a team! It was great to hear Dean talk about his challenges and the growth he has made- and how this is something that is ongoing even in the position he is in. I found it really inspiring and loved the dynamic between you both. Another great episode 🙌🏼👍🏼

Dean, thank you for being so open. You put into perspective situations we go through and we are often scared of. What a gain for a company to have you as director!

The way how you met is so interesting and how you kept the connection after a long time. Why are you the best person for that job? That is the question that gives you the chance to stand out. Thank you for another great episode!
